Rob Rio (USA)
Known as "The Boss of the Boogie", pianist/singer ROB RIO plays boogie-woogie and jump blues of the forties and fifties with a virtuosity and flair which has enchanted audiences around the world for more than thirty years. RIO has appeared with a stunning list of blues legends, including Muddy Waters, Willy Dixon, Charles Brown, Joe Cocker, Paul Butterfield; He has also recorded with people like Mick Jagger, Canned Heat, Billy Boy Arnold, William Clarke, Coco Montoya, Finas Tasby, Walter Trout, Phillip Walker, Jody Williams. Born and raised in the Bronx, RIO lives nowadays in Los Angeles. He makes regular solo appearances on piano or with his five-piece band, THE REVOLVERS.
